 Hello, I am Pastor Tim. I have been a member of NCBC since 2003 and the pastor since March 2008. I am a local. I grew up in North Berwick. Went through the school systems here, and attended the University of Southern Maine. I married my high school sweetheart (also a Mainer) in December of 1990 and we have two wonderful children. Together, we desire to see God do all that he wants in our lives and in the lives of the people who call NCBC their home. I began my Masters in Biblical Studies in the fall of 2001. During that time God made it clear to me that he had called me to preach and to pastor. In His divine design he had his sights on my home church. My passion is seeing the word of God change peoples lives. I firmly believe in preaching that is expository in approach. This simply means that the text of scripture forms the sermon. The topics I preach on are drawn from scripture. The Holy Bible forms the sermon rather than a topic driving any particular series. I believe that we become the community of faith we are destined to be through knowing and applying scripture. I am also passionate about seeing people confronted with the main character of Scripture - Jesus Christ. Therefore, we at NCBC strive to live lives, speak a message, and confront our world with the person of Jesus Christ. We are a mission minded church and believe that the mission to tell others about Christ permeates every area of our lives.
