North Berwick Food Pantry
Our Mission is to provide nutritious food and essential non-food items for those in need residing in North Berwick and Lebanon, Maine. We promise to offer our services with love, respect and in a confidential manner because we are a people of Christ with a Message of Hope. And it is our hope that those who receive these goods and services will be strengthened in body and spirit.
Who is eligible?
North Berwick and Lebanon residents that fall under the eligibility guidelines of the State of Maine Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
Days and hours of operation: Mondays 4-6 pm (except holidays)
How can you Help? Tax deductible donations of non-perishable food items, paper products and monetary gifts are always welcomed.
The Clothes Closet
The New Covenant Community Clothes Closet is open to anyone in need of clothing, shoes, and/or blankets. If you or someone you know needs any of these items, please visit us during the hours listed. If you have any questions or are unable to come in to pick up the items, you can call the Church office Mon-Fri, between 9am &12pm.
We welcome any donations of clean clothes, shoes, and blankets as long as they do not have stains or holes. We cannot accept underwear, socks, and bathing suits unless they are new and in the package (for sanitary reasons). We are unable to take furniture and other large items due to not having the space to store them. We would be willing to have a bulletin board for these items.
We have had an overwhelming response from the community as you have joined together in donating items to help meet the needs of the community. We want to thank you.
Connections Coffee House
Connections Coffee House at New Covenant is a way to invite people for coffee, sweets and good conversation while enjoying inspirational entertainment.
Typically one Saturday evening each month our meeting hall is transformed into a relaxing café.
Our events feature concerts by local recording artists, drama as well as open mic and board game nights.
At times we expand our refreshments to free light suppers. Just our way to share God's love with you.
